The following books I DNF’d (Did not Finish) for various reasons and with that being said I would like to express that it is okay to not finish a book.
Life is too short. Read the book or pass it along and find a different book, but also don’t make yourself suffer through it if you aren’t enjoying it when you could spend that time on a book you will enjoy.
The Books
Ariadne by Jennifer Saint
I picked up this book because I always thought Greek mythology was interesting. I DNF’d it because I just couldn’t handle the explanation of how the Minotaur came to exist.
However if you have a higher tolerance for potentially triggering content and enjoy mythology, I would recommend this book. I didn’t read much of it so take what I have to say with a grain of salt, but what I did read of it was very well written and beautiful.

Bunny by Mona Awad
This book was straight up weird and didn’t make much sense. It was hard to get into for me and I just couldn’t keep reading it. So far, I would say this is the worst book I attempted to read this year.
If you are into weird and strange books, you may very well like this book. It was a popular choice for many readers, after all.

The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue
Another very popular book in recent months and years, I gave this a go and unfortunately it fell flat and boring for me. It is written in a back and forth timeline, so be aware if that isn’t your thing.
Like the other books above, this one is also popular for a reason, so don’t discount it just because I didn’t enjoy it.
