From the bestselling author of Lily and the Octopus and The Editor comes a warm and deeply funny novel about a once-famous gay sitcom star whose unexpected family tragedy leaves him with his niece and nephew for the summer.
My Thoughts
This book was pretty good and it held my interest enough to keep picking it back up. I wouldn’t say it was “unputdownable”, but it definitely was “Pickup-able”. Take that as you will.
What I did enjoy about this story was the love in all manners, but mostly family and friendships. I enjoyed that it showed family in different ways than the “norm”.
The story was definitely fun, quirky, sad, and adorable all rolled into one. I definitely recommend giving this novel a try.
